ya i dont want to put a fire eel in there unless someone convinces me otherwise, i have heard that an eel in a undersized tank will jump...
eels in general will jump..

A tire track or a fire eel would need an upgrade in approx 2 yrs. my experiance has been tire tracks can be very aggressive compared to fire eels. but there are exceptions.

and any spiney can and will jump, usually when improper hideing is available, water quality is poor, or aggression is high. an unhappy spiney jumps.

i know they jump, and i will have plenty of hiding places(pvc pipes, shale, and sand substrate). Of the tire track and peacock which would be better(since fires get 30+ long that is almost half the length of my tank, im not doing that to a fish) how long do peacocks get? i would really like to get a clown knife again but the one i had before(before i learned about stunting in small tanks) was 8 inches and ate 2 inch feeders, so a 20 inch one might eat a small eel...

tire track or a fire eel would be fine for all most all of its life but eventually you will need a wider tank then a 125
