No, it is not possible to over-filter a tank with mech/bio medias.
Over circulate/too much current, yes.
You could have 4 AC's and a Eheim ProIII and not be over filtered, your BB colonies would be the same size as with just two AC's so your biological is the same no matter what.
Your mechanical on the other hand is out of this world.![]()
Even if you start adding various chemical medias, you don't do more than waste money.![]()
