For a 30g ya could easily do 5-7. That would bring ya upto about the same bioload as a fully grown BNP.How many nerites shoud I get.l

Ahh so not as tough as convicts then. Well definitely good to know.I did some research on HRPs and most sources say about 76-82 Fahrenheit.
You could atleast get a decent array of colors and patterns from just 6. Lol that and then ya would be able to name each one since they'd all looks different. Granted ya could always go the mono-color/pattern route as well if ya just really like a certain kind.Ok, I guess I'll stick to about 6.
I wouldn't focus on chasing a specific PH range. I'd just focus one keeping the PH stable instead. It'll save ya allot of $, frustration and headaches down the road. I would just recommend drip acclimating the fish for half an hour before adding to the tank. This allows them to get used to the tank temp as well as the tank parameters without just being thrown straight into it.How hard should my water be?
Sounds like a good range to be at. HRP if I'm remembering correctly come from soft water while Sword tails I believe live in both soft and hard water.Ok, I'll just try to keep everything stable, my tank is cycling rn and last time I checked the ph was about 7.4.
