The fishes are not eating as well.. i have put myself in big trouble by buying these two fish with parasites.

Yeah, unless it's a really nice fish, I don't ever bother with "rescuing" sick fish.

I have a sticky on bloat in the African Cichlid section. Either way, a large group of this species is not well suited to a 55 gallon - and yes, NLS TherA is fine for this species, but they probably aren't eating at this point.
