One of my 55g's has 2 unbonded pairs of blue rams, and also 5 pairs of celebese rainbowfish. I have an empty 10 gallon and all of the plants necessary.

German Blue Rams would be much easier to breed than rainbowfish.

The rams are unbonded, but the rainbowfish breed all day in the community tank. I would just need to keep them away from the other fish.

If I had my choice of what to do with the fish mentioned, I would trade ALL them in for a pair of Convict Cichlids.............A 55g is PERFECT to experience having a pair of these little fun-rockets swimming about and acting they way they do.........FIll the tank with lots of plant and rocky hiding places.........The COnvict, if you do not know by now, is known to many to breed easily in the aquarium.........Having a large spawn swim about its parent through bunches of plants and driftwood is a cool natural sight..............
