So i have a 75 gallon growout tank for my clown knife, jd, delhezi, mota, and sveni pike. I have a few other small fish but im gonna get rid of them anyway. My question is which or the 2 fish should i get. I can get a small wolf fish when they get it in for me or i can get a african lung fish. Both will cost only $15 and i will probly gradually trade and sell most of my fish except for the clown knife, jack dempsey, and mota. All fish will be moved to a 150 gallon i have but no room for it yet and in a few years i plan on getting a 180 or bigger

Oh, okay. Yeah, I'd go with the wolf fish. As it grows it will help reduce your stocking levels. Seems like a win-win for you and the wolf.

You can do whatever you want. Just be careful with combining these aggressive fish and with stocking levels.

DONT get the lungfish.... in the end you will need a HUGE tank. im not talking about 300 gallons im talking about a HUGE tank like 1000 gallons or more for one lung. so get the wolf. just my oppinion

I think it depends on which species of lungfish you get.

the fish at the lfs is a african lungfish. According to my research and my friend at the other lfs said that they grow to 3 feet but usually 2 1/2 in a fish tank. They can grow bigger but those cases are ppl with monster tanks and the fish being kept alone. My father had one back in the 80's and he said he had his for 4 years and it only hid 24 inches in a 125 along with a jardini, and 18 inch lima, and a few sd's

my friend owns a fish store but i only go twice a month and i usually dont buy fish. I'm looking for a few fish i could keep for many years and something different than i usually keep.
