Which fish should i go with?

How's the knife doing?

now if its not the parasites could it be due to the amount of fish in the tank because i know fish grow according to tanks size and the amount of fish in the tank.

Fish grow to the quality of their water, not the size of the tank. The tank size is indirectly related only because a big fish will pollute a small tank faster.

knife is doing good. No longer eating feeders but he is taking worms now. he has gained about 1/2 inch in 2 weeks

Fish DO NOT grow to the size of the tank they are in

Then you're talking about hormones expelled by the fish to stunt growth. my TSN and silver arrowana both grew 2"+ a month in a 20 long then a 40Breeder.. tank size has nothing to do with it.. water quality and water changes have everything to do with it. As well as food and temperature. Knifegill said it...

as for the lung or wolf.. neither makes good tank mates in general with other species. African lungs tend to eat their tank-mates, and Wolfs do too. You'll likely lose a fish you want to keep, I know thats how my luck would work.
