Which fish was hard for you to let go?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that would be my old guy Jaws poor guy i dunno what happened, he was my first Florida gar and certainly not the last since i still have JJ Kaida and Tillikum

My first Oscar was a black tiger Oscar. He was way beefier than the guy I have now, but I had him in a 75g and didn't know that the pH was swinging every week. By the time I figured it out, he had developed chronic HITH and I couldn't resolve it. I'll miss that guy. I gave him back to the LFS.

Not my pic, but he looked a lot like this guy, but a little less dark:

wow how big were they?

my favorite of all fish no matter how many new ones in the future ..will always be my two pacus.... they were the ultimate entertainment...in cuteness.... and fun.... and also the most exciting to show off to people... they were turkey platter huge... so they were quite the show offs... i am glad i had 8 years with them before i lost them due to short in wire under their tank...14.gif

I raised a volitans lionfish to what seemed like basketball size when I was 12 or 13. He died when I moved him to a bigger tank. I was crushed for weeks about that one. I have a lot of theories about what might have happened to him but I have finally just decided it was youth and inexperience taking on a saltwater tank too soon . He was beautiful.

RIP Turkey !
