Which fish will get along with datnoids??

any fish that is too big for datnoids to eat and vice versa. also the fish has to be decent fast eaters as well
- clown loach
- arowana
- plecos
- ATF
- polypterus
- catfish
the key is size appropriate
My Dat is in my 120 grow-out predator community:
- Brevis ATF - 10"
- Scomb Payara - 8"
- (?) gar - 6"
- hujeta gar - 7"
- fire eel - 12"
- Lima shovel nose catfish - 8"
- Sheatfish - 8"
- sen bichir - 11"
aaaaaaaaaaaaand the Dat. - 6-7"
I've seen the scomb get into it with the Dat once or twice, so maybe not the best combo, but never any real damage done to either of them.

Dats can be fickle,when it comes to their food and their tank mates so you never can tell until you try them.

unfortunate, that's like the norm now
Although fish can be too large to be eaten, that doesn't mean Dat won't harass the crap out of it and cause it stress. It's all trial and error.
My NTT datnoid is a wuss my jardini doesn't even touch him at all and he gets all scared and hides. I'm going to have to divide the tank
