Thanks man but no thanks I don't want to get my intex metal framed pool back to par for the Wallago. He will get 4' easy and I just don't want to deal with the big pool setup just for one fish.plus I like the NTT even though he won't eat and is a wuss. I have divided the 180 that the NTT is in we will see how it goes. Don't worry man the wallago will outlast the NTT on this hunger strike they are on the wallago will pull through. catfish are known to do this. That's what my RTC did when I moved him to the pool from my 180 but he ate again like normal after a month he was a little bigger than the wallago is now. He will be fine. I'm just not used to this type of hunger strike with datnoids because It's my second one and my first one who is an IT eats like a pig.

No worries man, nice to see the Dat went to an owner that is paying very close attention to it. Sucks to feed live but you might wanna try it with some minnows. My 2 Tiger Dats were hunger strikin' it until I dropped some of those in there, now they're pigs with a lot of other foods too, even cruising around the tank when they were hiding before.

Dats can be fickle, when it comes to their food and their tank mates so you never can tell until you try them.

I agree but think silver dollars are a good bet

I agree with Krich. I had an NTT that when smaller I could house with anything, and it hid a decent amount. By the time it was 13" it beat the holy Hell out of a flagtail and silver dollars and never hid. If I put another semi aggressive fish with him he would leave the SD alone. It's trial and error. Size and behavior of that individual fish play a big part in what they will get along with in my opinion.
