Which fish would go best in my Arowana tank?

Not into huge catfish....but RTC's are pretty nice looking. Before I learned that fish only growing to the size of the tank was complete LFS B.S., I got one for practically free. The LFS had found it living in their HUGE sump pool when they were cleaning. They thought they sold it, but it had swam down the intake tube and through the plumbing. It had grown to about 8 inches in the sump, and they had nowhere to put it. I think I paid $6.99 for it.
In an odd twist of fate it jumped out of a bucket, directly into the toilet when I was cleaning out my tank. Swam right down the drain without even flushing. I thought he'd get stuck, and tried to fish it out, but somehow he made it. That's not a joke....absolute true story. I guess he really liked plumbing.

However, I agree with the others, and will leave them up to the public aquarium....along with the Arapima I'd love to have in my prehistoric tank!!

No worries:D

So I guess finding a big enough datnoid is the popular opinion?? I like the idea....I just gotta find one and then hope it doesn't die 3 days after I pay $100 bucks for it, like my leichardti!!
The west coast should be chiming in by this time.... I like the suggestions...keep it up:headbang2!:headbang2

Oh yeah, what kind of DAT? Aren't there a bunch?

I've put my silver Aro with my 4 Discus and they seem to be getting along extremely well.
