Which fo my Oscar

Thanks for all of the replies. I will be going with two red sevrum and one EBJD. Is there one place that I should go to get them? Like I stated earlier, Aquascape has the EBJD for sale ... but I know nothing about them.

As far as Petsmart goes, I would never buy from them. I dont make fun of others that do, but the times I have been in there the fish are often sickly and often mismarked. I have ven heard employees give wrong info to people buying fish ... that I corrected after the worker leaves. Just me ... nothing personal if you like the store.

I read the Severum need to be in schools. How many is suggested? I was thinking of buying two, but if I have room for more and its suggested I would do that.

I see aquascape has super red's and the EBJD. I like the idea of buying them from the same place.

I would consider more oscars, but I was worried about the mess and room. I want to add a few more fish without stressing anyone for lak of space. If I add two more O's, what size should I grow them to before I put them in with my large O? My LFS has some nice red tiger and albino, but they are about 3" @ $20 each.

My current O is a Red Tiger ... if that matters.

NO RD.
I would say the Sevs would be a good choice. Maybe a red sev and a gold sev?
I would steer clear of JDs IMO. I had a big problem with a JD beating up and picking on an Oscar recently.
I think the EBJDs are supposed to be a little more calm (not sure though).
Plus JDs hide all the time.

Check out the red sev in my sig, very friendly and visible out of the box, so to say. I had him eating bloodworms out of my hand the day after I got him, I was shocked.
Good luck

I read the Severums shoud be kept in a school. Does that mean I shoud get more than two? Also, shoud i wait until they are close to 4" or 5" before adding them to my O tank? There are several hide spots if they get bothered.

Rapp has Bumble Bee Oscars, now that I think about it. Flizz recommended more O's and I understand a need for diversity.

The main problem is how empty the tank looks, but diversity def is nice. The bumblebee O is interesting, but I cant find any pictures of an adult. Aquascape has a nie looking gold and ruby red. I would lean to the gold between those ... the red just look albino to me.
