I'm trying to decide on just one fish for a 55G, freshwater. Would like one that is aggressive and fun to feed but also nice to look at. Any suggestions?

I would get a red texas cichlid, they have some crazy patterns and are pretty aggressive. any other flowerhorn would be cool too

mabey a small largemouth bass? keep him till he gets a decent size then find some1 tht had a little goldfish pond and drop it in there.

red wolf fish

+1 ;egit freshwater fish

or you could do a octopus or a snowflake eel both could be fowlrs

Jaguar!!! They've got amazing personalities. Well, mine does.

a lot of these suggestions - - Red Texas, Jaguar, Green Terror - - would outgrow a 55G eventually . . .

you might want to consider something a bit smaller, like a Blue Acara or an EBJD
