I agree, there have been a lot of terrible suggestions in this thread. To the OP, don't get any fish that can get to over 10-12" or you will just end up having to rehome it.Sab_Fan;4282154; said:

It's a shame because I can find more than 20 posts on here with people keeping JD's etc in 55 gallon tanks.
I keep my JD in a 55 gallon and he's 10". And he's got plenty of room.
I'm sorry, I don't recall ever saying they would outgrow a 55 gallon... If I remember correctly, you're the one who said a JD could outgrow a 55 gallon, which actually usually isn't the case. I've never seen a jag outgrow a 55 gallon, nor a flowerhorn. So someone please post pics, and show us.
