Which Food for your Dog?

just google Canidae's website and read all ingredients are human grade. really too much info to post.
I searched foods with no Ethoxyquin. after feeding the Vet's "recommended" brand (which only vets could sell, DUH) for years and losing fairly young dog to liver cancer. The thing about ethoxyquin is (IMO, and I don't want to argue with anyone), animals are fine until suddenly they are dying.
There are other good ethoxyquin-free foods, but my dogs had gas/stool problems. Not bearable for indoor pets.
Canidae even passed the "Boxer test" for the ones I've had. that breed is notarious for getting killer gas.... I mean the kind that knocks you over gasping for breath. LOL.

CANIDAE All Natural Ingredients
Chicken meal, turkey meal, lamb meal, brown rice, white rice, rice bran, peas, potatoes, oatmeal, cracked pearled barley, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols),
"mixed tocopherols" are the technical words for the natural vit E form which is also the most bio-available. that's the kind you want on human supplements, to get the best anti-oxidant action. most vitamins have the cheap kind.

We give our dogs the best foods. A raw diet. They get everything from chicken/beef/shrimp and veggies, bone and all. There is little waste when you feed raw.

ive been raising american bullies and a english bulldog. i use royal canine for the bulldog and for the bullies- a mixture of canidae(4 meats) and avoderm(chicken)and raw meats on wednesday and sunday ( ground beef or chicken thighs). hope this helps..got any questions, feel free to pm me...

I have used Diamond and Blue Buffalo before, the BB gave my dog gas though. Taste of the Wild is great if you can afford it, I usually have a small bag I use for treats. Main diet now has been Nutrish Chicken and Veggies. All the dogs can be on that food together and nobody gets gas.
