Which footprint would you rather have?

if it where me i would go with a stand for something more standard size...

id hate for you to be stuck with a stand that you cant find a tank for and have to get one custom build to the size that can be expensive as well either way good luck let us know of your progress

I understand where you're coming from, but 5x2x2 is actually a very common size for acrylic tanks, so my stand and canopy won't be difficult to fit!

5x2 sounds perfect! I'd love to find that for my midas. I'm in the same process as you ATM, but I am going to take the best deal whether it is 4'x2' or a 6'x18".

Yeah I've never had a 2-foot deep tank and I think it'll really make him a lot happier, especially when he's grown a lot more. Good luck with your search!

Good luck. I have a 60" x 18" footprint 120 and love it.

Wide tank is nice but I prefer longer. But it also depends on your space to put it.
