I think you're making a mistake. I have 5 Exo-Terra and 4 ZooMed Glass Terrariums and the ZooMeds are a pain. I've had the latch handle break resulting in me having to open the cage with a credit card and then sand down the latch so I could open the cage still. You also need both hands to open the ZooMeds while the Exo-Terras can be opened with one hand. It might seem minor but when you have feeders in your hand or the animal and you need to open the cage to put them in, its a pain to have to figure out how to use both hands. I wish I knew how much better the Exo-Terras were before i got my 4 ZooMeds.

was looking at my funds and not looking so good so know am thinking of using a fish tank instead of a TERRARIUM it would be a lot cheaper. i know its going to be a bit of a pain when i have to clean it. also i rather spend more money on a nicer gecko then all the money going to the tank. am also interest down the line on getting another gecko hopefully to breed so what tank size do you guys/gals recommend i was looking at a 20 gal X-High 20 1/4 x 10 1/2 x 23 3/4(saw this size online), 20 gal High 24 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 16 3/4(i know it would be easy to find this size),20 gal Long 30 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 12 3/4(can get it really cheap). Do you guys/gals think the crested get some how gets stress out not having a tall tank? ive seen some people keep a single gecko in a 10 gal tank and 20 gal Longs. thanks again for all the info you guys/gals have provided i just want to get it right for the animal to live a happy life.
