ok guys i already have 13 rbp in a 180, i just setup another tank and this time i wanna get a genus serrasalmus, now which one is the most aggressive, not aggressive when eating food, but mad b.c he's in a tank, i would like to hear what evrybody has to say

I've heard Rhombeus can be the nastiest and are responsible for most of the human bites within' the hobby. Serras get from 6 to 16 inches, tank size is gonna be the 1st question you'll need to address.

You're going to hear lots of varying opinions on this but in the end it really depends on the fish and how confident it is in its tank.

Exactly, no fish is the same and while you may see some in the store chasing fingers and being "aggressive", it all depends on how it adapts to your tank and conditions

well its going in a 90 gallon so for one piranha that should be good, lets say i was to put no plants or drift wood, just sand would that make the P more agresive or just scared

so probly my best bet is to check out at the store wich one is more for a "finger chaser" sorta speak

10 of my 11 Macs that I have split up are always at front glass watchn me, never shy away.my 4" blk rhom is the same way.Macs are 3"-3.5". Plus side for Macs is you could get 3-4 instead of a solitary fish.unless your wanting just one. I think some people wait for years for a rhom to get nasty(maybe I got lucky)all my Macs were nasty at 2". I don't think you'd be disappointed in a Mac.
