WHICH HOB IS BETTER

I have a 55gal with an xp2 and tetra 60 hob( i know these suck) thinking about moving tetra out and putting an aquaclear 50 the old #. which is better. The flow rate is higher on tetra but once again iknow these arent very good. Watcha think. AAlso have a cascade 200 hob

Get an Aquaclear 70. Under 50 bucks on Amazon.

70 is a real gem of a filter, im a happy owner.

Tetra is a good HOB filter. If you think they suck, then get another canister.

There's no replacement for canister filters.

I had two AC 70's on a 75 with a rather heavy bio load and NEVER had a dirty tank.

If your going to go AquaClear get the 110. I've heard that the smaller ones aren't even compared to the 110. Then again I don't like AquaClear so I would get the Emperor 400.

Use an aquaclear 70. I have a ton of them along with the 110's. I love them. There was a link on here for an AC70 for $20 from Bigal's. No bio rings with it but I put scrubbies in and it works great.
