I'd go with an AC, mainly because I don't link any HOB filter that takes a cartridge . . . I like using ACs, where I can customize the media more readily . . .

yes I did get a ac 70 for $20 from big al's I wasn't ableto use it on my 75 gallon because of the woold trim around the top good filter though

I already have the 2 ac 50s. I wish I could get another xp2 love it. Maybe i will just run 2 ac with the xp. Just dont have the extra cash for a bigger ac or xp
