Oops, I forgot, I did replace a set of orings on each unit. Although this isn't a must, it will make disconnecting the hoses greatly easier for maintenance purposes......a $2 fix.

I'll look into the odyessa filters too. Besides prices, the only thing thats holding me back on purchases is the fact that I've never had a canister filter. Kind of nervous that if I don't set one up right it will leak and cause trouble.
The only filters I have experience in are Aquaclears and spongefilters.
Canisters aren't really superior filters over HOBs. Because of their much larger housing and larger pump, they do hold more biomedia and have higher flow rate. However, they do have a higher risk of leakage/flooding issues over HOBs. Another advantage if canisters are aesthetic reasons.
For a 75, keeping things simple would be 2 AC110s. If you're set on trying canisters, I would recommend the Sunsuns
