lol. Trust me, the head will be bigger and the quality will be better than that one. I know for sure that fish there have the potential to pass beyond the fish you posted. But here's the catch, it is all up to you that will make a different to your fish and its potential. :)

I am gonna pamper him. I am not putting him with other fish, he will have a nice colorful tank and I am gonna make sure he has really clean clean water. Not to mention his mirror time. I just need to get me some nice flowerhorn food.

Stick it with strictly NLS with and occasional treat of frozen krills/frozen bloodworms and some Hikari Spirulina(CM and other brand of flowerhorn food are good - but if you want to save money and still have top notch quality pellets then stay with NLS). Keep the water as clean as possible, and at least 78-82 degrees(all my tank are cranked to be at 82 - high metabolism brings out their potential better and no it doesn't make their lifespan shorter). If your up for it, get a male KKP or BP and let your flowerhorn boss it around and spar with it for about a good 15-30 minutes each day(sounds mean but it works far better than the mirror method) and get its confidence build up. The more confidence they have, the more potential they are likely to bring out. And one more thing, please de-worm it at least once a year. It makes a difference to your flowerhorn's health and life span. ;)

I feed mostly Hikari Cichlid Gold and I keep my tanks at between 82-84F. I have a few male parrots but I wouldn't do that to them. I do have a male convict he could spar with.

Its a good idea treat for parasites when I get it right? Whats the easiest way to go about it? I hope it doesn't come with ick.
