May be a difference and good for the ultra picky arowanas, myself I would just convert to the cichlid gold instead of paying three times the price for the jumbos.

I feed my black arowana the cichlid pellets he likes it, but I never trid the other one becuase the pet shop from where I buy never got it, but after this post I think I will ask him to get the jumbo
The best place to buy the jumbo sticks is ebay.
About $20.00 for the 6 oz bag and $40.00 for the 17 oz bag.
My local pet store sells the 6 oz bag for $30.00!!
I've never seen a pets store carry the 17 oz bag, but all I know is its a huge bag.
Geez... think I paid about 5 bucks a 8.8 ounce bag for cichlid gold, the last time I ordered. I usually order 10-12 bags at a time.
I would say aro sticks but if your looking for a more economical choice I would go with cichlid gold pellets...
