You still haven't said what size tank you have. As for between those two species, get a TSN. They grow slower and you have a LOT larger choice of tankmates.

as of now i have an 80G but will upgrade to maybe a 150 or 200 in a years time.

Neither fish will last in a 150 for a year. Neither will last in a 200 for more than 2-3 years. If you want either of these, you will need ATLEAST a 10'x5'x30" pond/tank.
