I have a ten gallon that has
1 otocinclus
1 3" iridescent shark
2 guppies.
The iridescent shark is very picky about the way he gets his food, so for him to get full some food goes to the bottom and is uneaten. I am trying to decide between an albino corydoras cat (1-1.5" long) or a 2 inch khuli loach for the cleanup. Which do you all think is best?

you do know how big the iridesent cat will get, right? i would get cories and get rid of the iridescent ASAP

completely agree with what le patron said.

yeah... This is just a temporary grow out for the ID cat right? cories are great for picking up after fish though!

How could a ten gallon work as a growout? A growout for 4 months, maybe.

So why do I need to get rid of my fish? My other pangasius is only 26 inches at seventeen years old, an he's fun to have around. I don't really get why everyone freaked out over my cat...?

Also, this tank is nowhere near it's stocking limit. And this Pangasius is a shrimp, zero chance of a tankmate being eaten.

at 3" an ID shark is more than capable of predating on guppies and ottos. so there is not a zero chance of them getting eaten.

The guppies were put in as a food source - three months ago
