Which is better?

That said, what do you all think? - cory or khuli? lol.

The cory is labeled as "albino cory", and no scientific name is listed. Would he do a better job than the loach? I haven't kept them in years, i've forgotten a lot about them. I've always had a problem with food being hogged away from the khuli's, so I think this is a good opportunity to try them out again, as it is under unique circumstances.

I'd say after the ID gets bumped go for the kuhliis, or a smaller cory (pandas, hasborus, ect) depending on which you like better. But they are both schooling fish, so a few of whichever :)

Does it really matter that much in reguards to number? If I get Khuli's, I will get two, but are corys really that social? I would prfer to just purchase one. I haven't kept these in a long time, so excuse my negligence to detail.

You can keep a single cory but they really like to be in groups or pairs if you keep a single cory you will see it less and it will be less active in general but corys are the better scavenger

Cory's are supposed to be a schooling fish and most places say to get 3 or more. But ive also kept them singly. As a group they seem a bit more at home though.

Ok. Anyone else have a comment before I make my decision?

Cories do definitely do better in a school of at least three. You'll see more activity from them by far, which means they'll actually be doing the job you want.

Ok, then if I end up getting corys I will get atleats two.

Any others..?

Yea get rid of the shark.
