Which is better?

I tend to disagree, I like the tail pattern better on the silver more. Why do you like the Asian more?

there is really no such thing as better. better to me is not better to you. but i think if given the option to own one of the 3, silver, jardini, or asian i think most people would pick asian esecially if all were the same price say 100$usd

I know the Asian Arowanas are more expensive, but I prefer the looks and tail pattern of the silver Arowanas. Doesn't someone agree with me?!

i like my silver for its grace and the dorsal fine that runs the length of the body. plus it is really nice to see all the colors in each scale. were the silver in my eyes excels in eligence and grace it falls in variety.you are pretty much stuck with one kind and yes i know there is the black but it is just darker. as for asien aro's there are tons and ton of different colors and patterns with colors that are more seen in a drawing then in real life, but the smaller dorsal fin and smaller body are not my favorite. i would love to get a tank of asiens and i have a 31" silver that i love and anther one coming. in conclusion i think thay both have there ups and downs but i think that is the biggest attraction to them both is you feel something kinda calming when you watch them, kinda like living in a fairy tail. i like them both just as much. thats just how i feel about it :)

I've never owned any but I'd say Asian since they are less likely to get DE like the silvers almost indefinitely get. Also I'm in Canada so I can get Asians :)

asian reds if your rich, im not im poor and have a silver lol...

It's all about preference. I like all Arowana's, but Asian Arowana's stand out a lot more due to their colors. I also prefer the body/fin shape of Asians/Jardini's over SA Arowana's. However, what Silvers and Black Arow's lack in color, they make up for in size. African Aro's aren't that bad looking either.
