agreed , regular pro3 is a fantastic filter , dont think i would spend the extra for the electronic version, i would rarther get the 2080 , then it will do if you upgrade tanks down the road aswell , and dont worry it will not be too powerfull as you can turn down the flow , remember you need to buy the media seperate also ,that will cost extra
Forget canisters. A wet dry sump gives you the best biological filtration and the quickest, easiest maintenance.

Eheim 2217 my friend has that but it not as power full as my fluval 405...i have 55 now imma upgrade my tank to 90 gallons soon but want really good and strong filter ...anyway thank for all ure help
i think tsurumi pumps are mainly for those super huge ponds. i never seen anyone use a tsurumi pump on a fish tank b4,but i know for certain it is very powerful.cuz i've seen people use it for those big koi ponds as koi give a lot of waste so have to filter them.maybe for fish tanks over 10ft by 5ft by 5ft or something u may consider it. but for small 100-400gal i dun think you need that.i think best is DIY sump overflow filters,with a eheim 1260 or more pumps depending on output.it works wonders and you can control the pH,the temp,the nitrate,ammonia etc very easily by juz adding more coral chips,plants or whatever u need to lower or increase the followings.and all you need to do is change cotton wools once a week,not much maintenance necessary cept for ur weekly water changes.
