Which is the better Protein Skimmer?

is this a joke? They discontinued seaclone because it was a piece of ****... coral life easy.
Not that you should feel bad for not knowing, but why the hell did that guy suggest? Have you even used the sea clone, or the coral life?

I've heard nothing but bad reviews from the instant ocean. I have been recommended the coralife but never bought it. Either way stay away from the sea clone
I had a sea clone. The fittings used to pop off all the time and flood the house. Less fittings or contained in a sump. imo.
From the reviews I've read online about the SeaClone I would recommend any other brand.
I've had a few people recommend that I pick up an ASM skimmer. If I decide to go do a big setup in the future I'll be getting one of those.

+1...neither of the brands you have asked about are really what you want. Skimmers are expensive, and there is a big difference between ones that work and ones that dont. Do yourself a favor and get a AquaC.
