96in X 24in X 24in

72in X 30in X 24in

the 6 footer is 30in wide, not tall, just to clarify any confusion....

aro's in question are all over 24in

i'd prefer 2 more feet of swimming room rather than 6" of turning room

3 silvers, all over 24in.

3 silvers in those tanks you listed? how bout NOOOOOOOOOOO!

more like a 192x48x30

your kidding, right?

The 8x2' equal 16 sq foot of swimming space, whereas the 6x2.5' is 15 sq foot of swimming space. Both are fine for a 24 to 30" silver aro. Three silvers are gonna require alot more space though.

lol, no, i'm not kidding. they are all over 24in, one is over 30in. they are in great shape, don't fight ever and the water they are in is changed on a regular basis such that ammonia and nitrate readings are almost unmeasurable. please dont assume because i don't have 4500+ posts that i don't know how to keep fish or know about the limitations of a particular breed. and mine are kept by themselves not with a bunch of cichlids....

Awesome! Can we see some Pics???
That reminds me, I always see Arow clips with several in a tank but they're always asian arows.
Is that because they're not as aggresive as blacks or silvers or is it a size thing?

its not about post count, its about common sense. common sense would tell you that you cant keep 3 silver arowanas in a tank that size. i dont have 4500 posts either and i know damn well that a 240g is far too small for 3 adult silvers.
