Most Aggressive Cichlids!

African: Buttikoferi cichlids.

Central American: Dovii cichlids & Haitian cichlids.

South American: Festae cichlids.

Convicts? They're harmless compared to what we're talking here.
Jaguars, Dovii's, Pikes, Pbass, would eat Convicts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.... Literally.

And, for their SIZE, Convicts are NASTY!

Has anyone mentioned Nandopsis Salvini? I know they aren't the biggest out there but ive had some extremely nasty individuals, both male and female. When breeding esspecially these little suckers can get quite vicious and aggressive, and evethough they aren't big killers like a lot of the big guapotes or umbees, Salvinis have real sharp visible teeth from a young age and they sure aren't afraid to use them in my experiences. anyone else have any thoughts about Salvinis?

Oh yeah, they don't play well. I had a salvini that tried to eat a convict its size. The convict got killed the next morning, even though salvini's are mean they are easily the most beautiful CA cichlids.

I completely 100% agree with you...In my opinion, a pair of adult Salvinis in breeding coloration is an example of one of the most beautiful cichlids in the world, they truly look awesome.
