Which is the most aggressive SA/CA cichlid in your experience/opinion?

dats won't generally mix well with overly aggressive fish, I'd rather put them with more placid large cichlids like chocolates and severums

yeah some africans got some spunk but i put a gt in with 3 established jewels and it was a joke they got their **** kicked

huh, I have one male jewel left, he is chasing midas and trimacs 3 times his size around the tank.

I have a 3" male convict that i think is insane. He killed my 4" jaguar last month along with the two other females that were in the tank with him. He's part of the offspring from a breeding pair where all the other children are normal. I cant get him to breed with any females, and not sure if i want him to breed either. He tries to kill everything i put in the tank with him and attacks my hand so he's confined to a 20 gallon tank by himself and his giant clawed friend mr crab who he doesn't even touch. I will try to get some pics up later of this psycho.

most convict are to aggressive as with any cichlid aggression varies from fish to fish but generally i would say convicts aren't really aggressive unless breeding

Don't Forget uro/mayan cichlids these guys can be pretty nasty

There's a pic of my RD in my avatar. She is about 9", total lenght and can be a real ****** sometimes (when she's got eggs, with no male to fertilize). my male cons (4") love to tease her, though. they sneak up, take a nip, and let her chase them around the aquarium for awhile before hiding in the rocks. Sometimes they team up and get her chasing two of them, then split up. that confuses the hell out of her. Really quite entertaining.
