Which is the most aggressive SA/CA cichlid in your experience/opinion?

Ok, I've had (or currently have) the following:

Oscars
Texas
Red Texas
Carpintis
Dempsey
EB Dempsey
Convict
Salvini
Flowerhorn
Red Devil
Blue Acara
Green Terror
Port (Brown Acara)
Bifa
Jaguar
Friedrichsthalii


The MOST aggressive so far have been (in this order):

Carpintis (every other fish stayed at the other side of the 125g)
Flowerhorn
Red Texas

Of course, each of the others have been aggressive in different settings (i.e. the Salvini would beat up on everybody when we had him in a different tank, separate from the larger cichlids). The Bifa has killed two females we tried to mate him with.

I think ya forgot Snake Heads. Those a nuts. Probably the only fish on this list my Oscar wouldn't have for a snack would be a Jag... Maybe... But then again, I've been training my Oscar to attack.

EDIT: Ok, now I see what I did wrong... up late, not reading the top... these are ones you HAVE or HAD. Somehow I thought this was a list of what was suggested as meanest Cichlids.
 
Of the fish I've kept this is a top 10 list.
1. N. Beani ( If you ever owned one you would agree)
2. Umbi's ( I've had a few that where not as bad but most where evil)
3. P. Dovii ( Almost even with Umbi's)
4. N. Hatiensis ( I think there mean just to be mean)
5. A Festae ( When they get big watch out)
6. Flowerhorn ( I think they have been bred for fighting)
7. Red Devil ( The name says it all)
8. Jaguar ( About even with the Red Devil)
9. Grammodes ( If they got larger they would be higher)
10. Salvini ( Same as above)
 
my 5' RD holds his own w/ a 10' Jag and he is right there w/ the jag fighting for pellets cant wait for him/her to grow
 
Meanest CA cichlids I have experienced was Managuense,Red Devil,and Festae's. I don't know why people think Dovii's are bad ass? I have had 4 and I'm sorry but they bluff more than they fight(Lip Lock), I have seen Convict's at 3 inches taking down a 5 inch dovii. They are only aggressive to smaller fish, since they get so big(One of the biggest of all CA cichlids) they can take advantage of the smaller one's, But That doesn't mean no fish can stop him, They're just mean NOT TOUGH. Red Devil's are Tough,mean,and when it comes to fighting this is a fish that won't back down!

POUND FOR POUND MEANEST AND TOUGHEST,
1.5 Star General(Hemichromis Elongtus), Craziest,toughest Mother F.. cichlid, Never EVER backs down Hyper aggressive too.
2.Buttikoferi Cichlid(Tilapia Buttikoferi), One of my favorites, These guy's took out and killed red devil's,Skinned every dovii and jag, and SLAMMED EVERY DAMN FISH to a Corner.
3.Red Devil Cichlid(Amphilophus Labiatus), Very Aggressive fish, with stocky Body. Born to Fight.
4.Jaguar Cichlid(Cichlasoma Managuense), A tough cichlid with a big mouth and teeth to back it up, Very Territorial.

Thats my list to the meanest CICHLIDS EVER.
 
It's funny I've kept lots of cichlids. My Orange Pikes were sweethearts as were my pair of Dovii. I read all these amazing stories of what bad asses they are and mine were creampuffs. My toughest fish I ever owned would be my wild caught Umbee which i grew from a pup. He ended up getting a bachelor tank if you know what I mean. My most miserable fish I ever owned though were my Lamprologus Cylindricus, they were just mean! An 8 foot tank wasn't big enough for a 6 inch fish.

agreed lol,i love my oscar but he is the nicest in my tank, i had to get rid of a JD because he was stressing out my community
