Peruvian Hystrix.. not a true Hystrix. They are going to get big like Motoros..

True Hystrix are hard to come by with the closure of stingray export from Brazil.. Anyone who has true Hystrix would understand their value and you would be paying $200ea, if not more, IF you can find real ones.

Sorry, I made a mistake on the price of rays.
The rays on craigslist are 150ea and they have pics.
The rays from my Lfs can order them for me and they are $80.00ea

Those are Motoro photos .. stolen off the internet?? The one on the far right is an Avatar from a user I believe.. I wonder if it's the MFK user trying to sell them?!

I told you to post pictures of the ray before you bought them.. Thank god you posted the link, so miles could explain to you that those are motoros and they get big!!!

I would say that your LFS is trying to sell you retic rays for 80$. IMO that is a SHADY, EXPENSIVE deal.... although i have seen the LFS retic ray price rise slightly around me too, but only 15$ higher. now theyre around 40-65$.

Okay, if its a retic can I house him in a 8x2x2 for life. Or is it the same as my 150, cause of the width (2feet)? Also, what size do they max out at?

Retic in a 240 in those dimensions for life wouldnt really work either... it could, but shouldnt be tried, because Retics have very long tails.

A circle tank would be the best, or maybe a tank with a width of 3Ft.

They attain about a 16" disk size, not uncluding a tail which can be that long or longer.

Id say 80$ is too much for one anyway. you can get better deals from the sponsors on here, including shipping.

Also if u do get a ray from a LFS, MAKE SURE THEY FEED IT IN FRONT OF YOU! doesnt eat, dont spend a penny on it.
