which live rock would you suggest

ya, shipping for LR is intense, so unless your rich, i would just go with lfs if it's a large amount of rock.
 
even rock from a lfs need to be cured and shippin on rock from f&s is $60 so for 45 lbs you pay $179 thats $2.98 per pound better than the 7-10 per you would pay in the store your right saving 4-7 is way not worth it.............
 
Well I'm sure that out in WI the quality of LR out there would be less than spectacular with what is available locally. So maybe in your case it makes more sense to purchase something online. I would much rather deal with my LFS and support local business rather than ordering something like that online. Besides all else you get to know the local businesses on who sells what type of rock and if its cured or not.

I would also prefer finding local enthusiasts which are breaking down tanks and sell their LR for prices cheaper than what even LFS sell for. Usually you can find quality pieces if you know where to look.

So keep in mind what works for you may not be the best for someone else. I know I can purchase all types of rock for decent prices here in NY.
 
Go to saltwaterfish.com they have a great selection and great service of uncured and cured live rock. All different types check it out free shipping on I think over 35 lbs.
 
well seeing as dr f&s is 2 hrs from my house ill bet i have some of the best LR. And i did get some of my LR from lfs and they do have nice stuff i have 2 stores local that i go to every week and 2 others that i hit up every other week but hey the OP asked a question and i gave my .02 so if you dont like it just skip my posts
