Hello =^_^=

Im going to make miniture bonsai to go inside a tank.
I know there are many posibilities to do this with different kinds of drift woods and plants. So far ive done it with Anubius and that
H Cuba Stuff with some mesh wire and sponge.

And now i want to make one using Moss.

There are so many mosses out there to choose from.
Preferably i do not want to use the common java moss
cuz it looks all stringy and messy and lacks that certain shape or patern. (not to dis java moss or anything)

So these are the Mosses i wanted to pick from.


Christmas Moss
Which has Star shape Leaves and has More 3Demenstional shape

Taiwan Moss
Which is like Christmas Moss but is more Flatter.

I like the Taiwan moss.
 
I voted Taiwan moss, you can make a fir tree with it. I like the way it droops down uniformly.

Christmas moss might be good too,(for a fir/spruce "bonsai") but the photo is at at a different angle than the other two, so I don't know what it would look like.
 
oo nice nice replies! YAY! Yes two most major ones are either taiwan or Christmas! But most say Taiwan! There this Taiwan moss dealer near the area i should check it out lol. Thanks. Hopefully i can grab some so i can make it! Most stores jsut sell java moss here =^_^=
 
I think the erect moss would look very nice on a tiered-branch aquatic bonsai!

I've wanted to try making one for a while... perhaps I shall...

I should Start Collecting Mosses of all types and start a Growing Operation in my Basement with 10 Gallon Tanks with one Stips of Florecent Lighting from Hardware Store above it! Or even maybe those 13W coiled bulbs from the dollar store! High Light low Light! Itz all gooD! And the Best Thing about this Operation is that itz COMPLETLY LEGAL!!! No Popo will every Bother me! YAY!

I placed an order on Taiwan Moss as #1 and if there is no Taiwan Moss then Xmas Moss is #2.

Hopefully i cant get it soon so i can Take Pictures of Making it lol!

We should all Make Bonsais! Itz Fun! =^______^=
