IMO neither of those males would produce anything exciting bro, not trying to be rude, just honest. They are worth $30-$50 IMO.

i understand they're not top of the line FHs but my budget for a male FH now is around their price...

they are a little lesser than that 40-55

Out of the two, I would pick the first one, it has better pearling, nicer color, nicer fins and also has a decent KOK potential....just looks like you have to pump him up...

I would buy some fry from a reputable source and try to grow out a masterpiece. Look at flowerhornsfrombeyond.com. I just bought some nice red dragon fry for $5 each. They should be about 5" in 4 months. THey grow very fast.

i'd go with first male and first female. i heard the more the centerline goes down the side the better. so with that said thats why i said 1st and 1st.
