get another tank and what kind of pbass ya got i might be interested fo the right price
If that is another option I wouldn't make this post to share with my bichir friends.

Being a bichir man, I would say lighten up on the P bass.(prob best bang for the bio load buck) I would also look at the numbers of the same types of polys and go down on them.

Tough decision, you have one amazing collection. I like the poster that suggested adding the second tank. It would be tough to give up fish you have cared for.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
Your post seem to be the most understand person. I think I'll get rid of the Endlis. They're very common here and are plentiful. I might get rid of a few delhezi as well. I think this should be good for now. I am also looking into option of improving my filtration. I'm sure there has to be a way to improve my filtration.

I vote for getting another big tank for your bichirs
I have no space for a bigger tank or else I would.

I think selling your 2 Weeksii and 1 Retropinnis should accomplish what you're trying to do.

How much for shipping to 01571? ;)
These guys are staying for sure.

You should sell me a small endli :naughty: 4 inches.
I can't do that bcuz it's bigger than 4" now. You can buy a 6" endli if you are interested.:naughty:

I'd lose all the pbass, that would make a huge difference
Noooo!!!!!:grinno: I love the colorful pbass. I would sell all my bichirs before I sell all my pbass.

I didn't like this guy at first but now he's growing onto me. I kind of like him being a crazy beasty eater.

Sell all the palmas palmas and buettikofferi to me! I'll take good care of them.
These are probably staying since they don't pollute much.

Sell 5 Endlies and 5 Delhezis and 2 senegals.
I thought about this but I love my WC delhezis too much. I would sell all my endlis if I have to.

jlnguyen74;3996846; said:
That's a lot of fish for your system. You need to sell more than 3-5 fish in order to reduce the bio load. :D With the economy nowaday, just post all of them for sale, and see what you can sell. At least keep one of everything. How about start with 2 Delhizi and 3 Congicus? :naughty:
I will post all for sale as one package but I will not split any of them unless they're the one I'm willing to let go. I can sell you two delhezi and a few congicus but I don't think they're big enough for your massive tanks. I'm still thinking on what to get rid of and so far I'm leaning toward one delhezi and a bunch of endli logs.

crisper;3996807; said:
wow dude you got alot bichirs maybe you want to start there.
Not to be a jerk but isn't this what my thread was about.

Get rid of the 3-5 biggest fish in the tank.
No way, I like my large fish too much to sell. I'll sell the small one first before I start selling the giant monsters.

tyndall72;3998924; said:
Every one is hating on bichirs in here lol. just get rid of the 5 largest but i would jsut get rid of 1 or 2 each so you still have the variety.
I don't think this is the best route to go. I think I'll get rid of my least favorite. Hardest part is deciding which one to sell cuz I love them all.:D

Hao;3998892; said:
i dont think he will get another big tank for his bichir or sell all his bichirs
Yep, I cannot get another bigger tank. The house circuit board and floor cannot support it. Also, my garage is too small.

Kinda glad I do not have to make this decision, but then agian in order to be in this situation one would need a cool tank full of that many poly's.

This thread begs the question of what is the max stocking level of a certain size tank from a bio load perspective. (Not personal preference or the age old ethics debate).

Could you manage your current stock list as they grow with added filtration?

Good Luck with the decision.

I'm sure my stocking level can be done if I upgrade my filtration to a huge wet/dry. My setup right now is just a Rena XP3 and Eheim 2028 canisters. I am looking to see if I should add a HOB or another canister. I have a spare Eheim 2026 I can set if it's really needed. I'm just want to lower my stocking level to increase my margin of errors. I don't want to have to stress over the waterchange schedule and checking water monthly. I want to enjoy my hobby and at the same time be able to have a social life.

He didn't stay out of gangs. Gangs stay away from him. What make you think gang want to pamper a baby? :D

Two delhizis and a bunch of endli logs may do it! As long as they have good pattern, not "platinum" and I don't mean the white platinum:ROFL:

I just sold one 11" congicus, one 10" endli, and one 9" delhezi.:( I think I'm going to sell the wild caught senegal that is 10" too. I am in the mood to sell and don't want to keep hesitating.
