My opinion is you should put 0 in there if you are just going to "stuff them in" A 125gal is too small anyways unless you are planning to upgrade when they start to grow, fast! And I hope that RTC in your avatar isn't in that tank too :nilly:

Well its kinda preference on what you like! But kelberi and orino are both slow growers and could stay in a 125 for about a year it seems with there growth rate but you would have to upsize at that point. Not even so much there size witch isnt cool when they dont have room to turn around! But thier metabelism is very fast and they require alot of food and therefor create tons of POOP!!!so you need mass bacteria to contend with that.Rapps has some very nice ocell right now the price reflects it though. But it would be worth coughing it up for the quality if you have the spaceI have gotten all mine from him and could not be happier. But there are several reputibal venders on the forum who will ship what you are looking for.:D

All depend on your budget. Kelberi's x10 and orino's x 10....what would be good. 20 pbass would work great.

thats getting a bit carried away, i wouldnt put more in then 4, and like it was said earlier you will need a bigger tank eventually no if ands or buts about it

HAHAHAHA......you really think all 20 would live? do really know how fast they grow? You don't think he would want to try and raise the runts? So all in all, he would be left with 10 in the fist year. Due to them dieing, not eating, jumping out, being bulled, and so on. And if he wants to keep them, then up grade if needed, and that will be 1 1/2 to 2 years from now.

Would i recommend mono's...no
Ocell, No
Tems, OH hell no
Zully', no
Interm, YES...if he could find them
pinimas, no

I never rely on them dieing. But, it happens.

your kidding me right? are you really asking me if i know how fast they grow hahahaha

to buy 20 and stick them in that and have a deathmatch until your down to a few is ****ing retarded period, something only the ignorant would do, or something someone who truly doesn't give a **** about their fish would do, and even if you did it just to grow them out and pick a few, thats still stupid, just a waist of money, and chances of losses are high which is unacceptable IMO, but keep in mind its just my opinion

monos, ocells and orinos would be fine in a 6ft 125 for up to a year and a half depending how much you feed and how many you have

personally ive grown out 2 wc peru monos and a orino in a 125 for the last 12-14 months and not only do they still have adequate room, they dont even really use half the tank, and on top of that the monos have spawned for me twice already, so a 125 is a great starter tank imo, as long as your ready to commit to a much larger tank in the somewhat near future
