your kidding me right? are you really asking me if i know how fast they grow hahahaha

to buy 20 and stick them in that and have a deathmatch until your down to a few is ****ing retarded period, something only the ignorant would do, or something someone who truly doesn't give a **** about their fish would do, and even if you did it just to grow them out and pick a few, thats still stupid, just a waist of money, and chances of losses are high which is unacceptable IMO, but keep in mind its just my opinion

monos, ocells and orinos would be fine in a 6ft 125 for up to a year and a half depending how much you feed and how many you have

Here we go again. You know what, I know what I have done. Cichla do good in groups, keeping 2-3-4 or what ever low number they're going to fight regardless. I have no idea were you get off saying that it a "death match" with 20 2-3'' bass in a 125gal tank. Your the retard that says it CAN'T be done. So you go ahead a be a follower, And watch the movement from behind us.:naughty:

And that my opinion. DONE!!!

i think ive already been threw this with you once, so im not gonna waist to much time arguing with a obvious unknowledgeable child, bottom line you know as well as i do that is terrible advice, and no where did i say it cant be done, I said it shouldn't be! maybe you should get off the drugs and go back to school so you can learn to read and pertain memories for longer then 5 mins, follower lol, hahahaha ive already accomplished more with my bass then 90 percent if not higher of all the people that keep them on this site, and im still just getting started, hate to break it to you, but your watching the movement from behind me hahaha

done!

Wow... These threads always get out of hand lol. Its such a snowball effect, best anyone can do is take the advice from those whom are expierienced (spelt wrong) and that's it essentially people are going to do what they want anyway. That being said in a 125 get the smaller sp orino mono ocell nothing that will get too large. They all get big quick but at least ur not talking 3 feet. As far as groups I have kept pbass solo and as many as 6 its true they do have more personality when there are more...but there's that inch per gallon rule its really for your fish they will not grow properly in cramed spaces, tank will get fouled up quickly because they eat and poop like machines...just be wise when you make your decision and you should be fine.

so a 6x2x2 (feets) tank which is roughly 180 isn't enough to hold 4-6 peacock basses?

i dont know where the 180 came from unless your asking a question unrelated to the thread, but i would think that would be fine, probably for almost 2 years if you got the smaller kinds of pbass and had premo filtration

It is for over a year!!! and maybe more depending how much room you like your fish to have.Ive seen a 15 inch mono ina 75 living though not cool.

it seems like perfect sense though? The width is 24 inches and mono grows to 24" from what i read. so they have enough space to turn. 4 feet of extra swimming room for each.

Like i said monster monkee they can live inthe 180 after a couple years it would be tite . it all depends on what you want to do .i have a 22 inch cat in a 180 right now shes ok now!but i"m savin pennys right now for a 600.Icould live in a tiny room but i sure would not like it!So its what you think more or less .Do you mind looken at a giant fish thatcan't turn around? And bashes his head in while feeding?Sorry for the derail guys.Monkee you should start another thread about tank size discusion!
