i am thinking trying to get a pair of aurantimaculata or stewarti, or a group of andrao,
whats your thoughts? all opinions welcome, thanks

Go for the wild 20-25cm aurantimaculata. At full size they should reach 40-45cm which is perfect for a tank of your size. Andrao only reach 15 cm max, you'll never see them in a 180 gallon tank. Also i think aurantimaculatas are one of the top 3 most beautiful channa species

thanks, what about stewarti, they are inbertween them size wise arnt they

There are so many stewartii different variants and all of them are extremely aggressive. Unless you are able to go to a shop and see them for yourself, i wouldnt take the risk on stewartiis. Aurantis are better looking than the vast majority of stewartii species anyways

I can only agree on Aurantis, they are amazing and if you end up with a pair, you'll be rewarded to the fullest. :)

I must say I peeked at your provider's list and i'm jealously glad he doesn't have pleuros ;)
