Which Outboard Manufacturer?

I like Honda, Mercury, and Yamaha.

Which manufacturer do you think make the best, most dependable outboards?

Forget it. The Evinrude E-tec is by far the best. We switched from a Merc that was leaking oil. The gas mileage is so much better. We didn't believe either until we got one.

mariner is about the crapy of the crapy if you ask me i will never go out on a boat with one of those i dont trust them unless the new ones are way better than the old ones.

Dude, Mariner was the Saltwater Outboard, a Merc with Stainless parts like the New Saltwater Mercurys.

BTW, what are you running? My 150 EFI will push my Sabre hull 68 mph with just me in it, 64 with a passenger.
