Probably the Poly section
ok so for my 125 should i do:
3 geos
1 ebjd
1 green phantom pleco
1 severum

or:
1 vejia
1 sajiaca
1 ebjd
1 convict or 1 firemouth
1 green phantom pleco

so which stocklist also theese are the fish i have allready the ones above are just the additional stock:
2 female jds
1 male blood parrot
1 ornate pim catfish
1 male bristle nose pleco

so which stocklist? i will have a uv sterilizer , fx5, and emperor biowheel 400.

Your current stocklist already closely maxes out a 125gal. Parrots arnt very peaceful and either are JDs. No ebjd with your current stock unless you can get one of decent size, a young one chances are it wouldnt survive.

Whats a vejia? Sajica can be trouble makers. As well as most vieja. Id suggest the 1st one but definately get rid of the jacks first as well as the parrot if hes aggressive.

Sounds to me like you're well on your way to severely overstocking your tank...

Also, good luck finding "Sajiaca's" and "Vejia's". :grinno:

like i said i dunno the spelling guys. and i know it will be slightly overstocked thoose are just base stocklists. and the blood parrot is staying, so are the jds and ornate pim(i really wish people would read everything!) also why does everyone hate blood parots? mine is a little sweet heart, he wont eat until he watches everyon else eat. and i am going to grow out the ebjd, untill he is the same size as the others. the only ones on either list that i really wanted anyway where the veija, ebjd, and geos. the rest are just fillers. i am ordering the green phantom asifo(as soon as i find one). geezed guys they arent set at all.

also since when does a blood parrot, 2 female jack dempseys, and a ornate pim max out a 125:grinno: is it the extreme sizes? 8 inches and 10 inches:screwy:
and i will have a uv sterilizer a emperor 400 biowheel and an fx5:naughty:

^ Those fish alone may not max out the 125, but you asked about adding other fish to them. If you add all the fish in your two proposed lists, you'll be overstocked either way. A 125 sounds like a large tank until you are dealing with larger, potentially territorial cichlids. I have a pair of severums that dominate my 210 gallon when spawning.

If you refuse to get rid of the JDs, I wouldn't get a severum or geos. I don't know much about the Vieja genus, but from what I've read, most grow large and can be quite aggressive.

just do this.
3 geos
1 ebjd
1 green phantom pleco
1 severum
