The pictures are all to active IMO. I find myself looking all over the picture and not focus on the center piece. I like picture one, but the fish in the back........

What kind of camera are you using J?

Yeah, i know, they are all very active and barely stop moving. I took your advice and sent pic nr. 1, i will let you know how goes.
I am using Sony Cybershot DSC T75. Not DSLR, but i will get one soon enaugh.

All of em are good but 8 was what i voted for.

pic 1 would of been the best only if it was more in focus.

chose pic 3 because its clear and focus than the rest of em.

Yeah, when i shot nr. 1 he was searching for food, he was in the other end of the tank so i had too zoom in quite a bit.

They all look about the same. It was difficult to select one that stood out from the rest. I think it's a composition issue. You're camera skills are good, but you need work on the artistic compostion side of it. Please understand that I just purchased a new DSLR and I have the same problem.

number one is by far the best

I disagree, you can't see its entire head, and the blurred fins ruins it to me. Also, the gravel is the most focused part of the pic, and when taking pics of fish, you want the attention to be drawn to the fish, not the gravel and other decorations.
