I think I'm finally going to break down and order one. I've wanted one for years and years but just never got around to it. Currently I have a 240 and a 75 set up and would rather keep one(or more?) in the 75 since the 240 is kinda crowded with the arowana, knife, shovel nose cat, and plecos. In the 75 right now I have a sole surviving baja shark and gold gourami, leopard ctenopoma, and a few plecos. I'm really only worried about the LC getting bit or eaten and I'm curious if I can add a few knife fish to the 75 with the bichirs in there. So in all likely hood, I'll probably want to go for the smallest species both in length and size of mouth. An alternative is getting one that will sit at a little over a foot long and throwing him in the 240. I just don't want to risk my LC getting hurt since he's a really personable fish.

I'd go with a senegal or a delhezi they dont get huge like the lower jaw species and they usually dont mess with other fish or atleast mine dont but i guess its all in the fish's personality.

senegal, delhezi, and palmas polli are solid choices for the 75gallon.
just be ready to separate the plecos if they start sucking off the slime coat of the polys.
