The fixtures in both the bath tub and bath room sinks are the one without threads.

The sink should be connected with braided hose you can tap it there and add a spigot with standard hose threads.

Great idea. What about treating the water and adding de-chlorinator?

I just put the water conditioner in the tank right before I fill it back up with the python.

Treat the water in the tank then fill. It will break down the chloramines/chlorine pretty quick.

Your fish don't react to it? I don't know... I'm a bit reluctant to try the python because water will be treated when it is already in the tank with the fish.

Get a test kit for chlorine/chloramine to check your supply. If it is too high then keep with the bucket method.
