Which ray?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Jus so u know.. A 180g is not enough to house a armatus of a Tigirinus for life too..
U definately need a better option for ur tanks.. Or its gonna be jam packed with ur big guys..
Cheers on ur first ray!!

I'll switch it up when I feel they are too big for there tank but thanks for the concerns!(;

How about a ray for a 180 for life? What would you think about a couple hystrix or florida stingrays?

hystrix could.... you dont want to mess with the florida stingrays.... they are not really freshwater rays....

Go for hystrix or scobina.. I think the look best.. Hystrix is like mini version of the monster ray chucho de rio..

I would do hystrix

An armatus will outgrow that tank in 6 months too

agree totally bro.. I am going with hystrix more too..
Hystrix are pretty easy to keep.. Cute little fellas..
Or.. jus shoot for the sky and get some BDs or P14s.. :ROFL:

I would go with a high quality marble motoro with the chain link spotting as they tend to stay small from what we are seeing around here. I will probably upset some people but I would get rid of the armatus as it will probably try to eat the ray and in 6 months it will be too big. Those fish only look good in other peoples tanks LOL! The tigrinus is a cool cat but once you get a ray you probably will not even notice him as the ray will get all your attention.
