Need some help deciding between these 2 tanks. These will house a ray. Maybe 2-4 eventually. They're both about the same price ($700-750). I need to decide in the next 2 days so post your thoughts ASAP - thanks.

Setup #1 is a MARS 260 gallon that a local pet store is offering. Dimensions are approx. 8' L x 3' D x 1.5' H. It's low to the ground so you can see the ray(s) from above. Has compact flo lighting, Iwaki pump, a big W/D filter & UV light. The last pic is another example I found on the web.

Setup #2 is a DAS 380 gallon hex w/a rectangular neck tank that a private party is selling. It's 7' L x 3.5' D (hex) x 1.5' D. The stand makes it eye level. Also has compact flo lighting, Iwaki pump & a W/D sump. It's similar to the one that Brad was selling.

LOL.. i was reading.. then bam a pic of my tank. I say the first one looks good. As it looks killer when you have rays in there.. you will find yourself always looking down on the rays. Im about to reset mine up in a few days here.

i like the thrid one bc thew filters are at the end and you can walk all the way around it

no.2 is good, without the stand, you'll probably find it hard to have a clear view of your fish without bending down (not easy on your bones after 40 years, lol).

NO. 1 because you'll get a better view of the rays when your lookin at the tank from the front. imo

deffinatly 1

the biggest ;)
