Which setup do you prefer?

Number 1 is the same type of tank used for a long time by petsmart for thier Koi displays. You can find them on Ebay from time to time. I should probubly warn you that the main reason they got rid of them all was because they leak constantly and the filters hard to servace. I'd go with the secound option.
