Well the LFS has occies and brevis in at the moment..I jest started going to this place and I don't know if they will get anything else in or not...So I think I will be getting the occies or brevis..Although I am taking this tank slow so it's very good..I have guppy fry in the soon to be Tanganyika tank.

Escargot hells work just fine for them. I second the dollar store suggestion, and Italian markets carry the shells with and without snail inside for just a few bucks for a big bag of them.
Ryan, the escargot shells I bought were pre-cleaned as they are sold to use for making snail dinners at home but I did a 5% bleach solution bath for 1/2 hr then rinsed & soaked in water with Prime added.
My N. similis love them and they are used by fry of other Tang species.
I mix different sizes in the tank and let the fish decide which they prefer. You could always remove the ones they don't like later, just check the shells to make sure noone is using it.
I've never had any luck at the local Dollar store for useable shells.

I have brevis and occies in separate tanks. Given the choice between escargot or smaller snail shells, the brevis always pick escargots. 6 out of 8 occies chose the smaller shells, 2 picked escargots
